Outlaw, i think you are Bendigo's biggest fan! Even Tony Doherty left you know! Well optimass we can just make it like the bledisoe cup apart from it doenst leave Australia!!!

I certainly am.

Unfortunately most people have missed the point of the CCI.

It was never about being the biggest show in Australia, I have no interest in that.

It was all about being the best and most entertaining bodybuilding show in Australia.

I won't say that it is the best as there are many variations as to what the best is, but it is without doubt the most entertaining show in Australia and from what I am told, any where else in the world.

I have not been overseas enough to comment on that myself, but there is nothing like it here in Australia that's for sure.

A big reason why it is so unique is the venue and where it is situated.

The venue itself is a proper working theatre, it pretty much has everything that the Regent Theatre and the Sydney Opera House has in in Australia, except on a much smaller scale.

There is nothing that I can't do at the Capital theatre as far as lighting, sound, props, etc goes.

We also have the Banquet room downstairs for the 'After Party' as well as in-house staff who know what they are doing and love us holding our show in their theatre.

Because it is situated in country Victoria it means that most people will come up for the weekend and stay which gives it a very friendly and social feeling.

There is no venue in Melbourne that can offer me the same facilities that Bendigo does.

There is no way known that I will lower the standard of the show by holding it in some "big open barn" just for the sake of those who are too lazy to go to Bendigo.

The only people who complain about Bendigo are those that haven't been.

Hopefully they will never come to the show.

Those who understand the reasoning behind the show love it and embrace it.

I spent months and months looking for the perfect venue and nothing I saw came remotely close to the Capital Theatre in Bendigo.

It was easily the best theatre that I could find, somewhere that bodybuilders could be proud to compete and bring their friends to watch them.
