Country Classic Invitational

This is Australia's most entertaining bodybuilding show.

It's a one show format with only 6 classes.

The winner of the Men's Open receives a championship belt, gold medallion, plasma TV, home theatre system & DVD player.

They will also feature on the cover Australia's best bodybuilding magazine, Hardcore Aussie Muscle.

Alex Simays from NZ won it last year.

If you know either Alex or Leanne, by all means ask them about the show.

I believe they are getting a team together for this year's show.

Please contact me for any further details.

hay outlaw53 my names dylan im 22 and a jr thats competd in NZ and placed 1st at NZFBB nats and NABBA nats last yr and am curious on whitch class i could compete in at your show

Mens Fitness? :pfft: :pfft:

LOL........very funny mate.

You are in an awkward position gym junkie.

We don't have a Junior division, but I allow my Juniors to enter the Novice class, regardless of whether they have won or not.

Novice probably isn't the right word for this class but I can't think of another one just for now.

You are not what we would consider a Junior here in Aust.

The Junior age varies from federation to federation but 21 and under is the oldest Junior class we have over here.

The CCI is also 21 and under so you have missed out by a bee's dick unfortunately.

Obviously you are too young for Masters and you are not qualified for the Open.

The only class you can do is the Open Qualifier.

This is a bit of a hotch-potch of a class to be honest.

There are some standout competitors and some not so good ones.

It is a very interesting class which if you come in shape you can acquit yourself very well.

I haven't heard much talk about competitors for this class so far, so I can't give you much of a heads-up on what the opposition will be like.

The winner of the Open Qualifier is then qualified for the Open Men's class the next time they do the CCI.

I can only promise you that you will have a great experience and will get to meet some wonderful people.

I hope you decide to come over mate.

2009 CCI – Sat 1st August. Update + Details.

It looks like being another great show.

Competitor numbers are up and ticket enquiries are stronger than ever.

This year’s show will have something for everybody I think.

•Dust off your moccasins and get out your black T-shirts - Australia’s best AC-DC tribute band “Thunderstruck” will open the show with a couple of classic Acca-Dacca hits.

•Mr “Freestyler” himself, posing superstar Michael Faba will be our special Guest Poser. Wait until you see his routine.

•Nick Jones and Charlie Duca will do a 2hr “FREE” seminar before the show. 11.30am – 1.30pm. Everyone is welcome.

•My good mate Vin is donating yet another amazing “Fully Framed” lucky door prize. In keeping with the AC-DC theme it will be a massive “one-off” collector’s item frame valued at over $1,000. Entry is free with every seat purchased.

•Tanman has purchased a $600 Seiko watch to give away for the “Iron Mike Memorial Medallion”. This is for the competitor who epitomises the true spirit of Aussie bodybuilding. This is a regular tribute that is in memory of Iron Mike.

•The CCI is an official fund-raising event for Breast Cancer Australia. We are honoured to be able to do this and ask that you bring a few spare $$$ and support this worthy cause.

•The Men’s Open Winner will be featured on the cover of HCAM along with a 7 page interview.

•All the usual prizes, medallions and Championship Belt will be on again as well as our unique lighting and stage theatrics.

•The After-Party is a great chance to catch up with everyone after the show, so I hope to see you all there.

The classes and running order are as follows.

Charlie Duca/Nick Jones Seminar (In the Banquet Room).

Thunderstruck Opening

Novice Figure

Novice Men

Masters Men

Break

Michael Faba Guest Pose

Fully Framed crowd prize

Open Figure

Open Qualifier

Open Men

After Party

I have been a bit late getting out Entry forms so please email me if you are still waiting.

There is still time to enter, so email me at craig@hardcoreaussiemuscle.com.au

There is still time to sponsor the show too.

There are sponsorships packages from $250 - $500 still available, please contact me if you are interested.

It’s with great pleasure that I announce that Ben Crowley at Bioflex is this year’s Naming Sponsor.

Well done Ben, I’m rapt to have you on board as this year’s Naming Sponsor.

Seats are not available at the venue yet, but you can purchase them through me anytime.

They are $55 each and are “fixed allocated” seats.

First in gets the front rows, but it is tiered seating so you can see from anywhere in the theatre.

For more enquiries, email me or give me a call on 0422 416 768.

I hope to see you all in Bendigo.

LOL !!!

Nice work AllenNZ!

Mate, you didn't have to do that, I hope its cool with the Mods.

To be honest, I've got enough of you Kiwi bastards coming over stealing all our prizes and trophies, so I was hoping to keep the show a bit of a secret from you lot.

Looks like the cat's out of the bag now!!

There appears to be either 5 or 6 NZders competing so I'm sure you will all make plenty of noise and make all of us Aussies wish that we hadn't invited you!!!

Best of luck to the Kiwi team and thanks for supporting my show.

I would like to thank Craig for putting on a excellent bodybuilding show in Bendigo AUS and for looking after all us kiwis that went over to compete and the supporters. The entertainment before and at intermission was the best i have seen at any show down under. the pre-comp seminar had Nick Jones and Charlie Duca that was very good. The thing I like about this show is all the other bodybuilding federation representatives were there in the audience from promoters to the INBA president. So for all you kiwis that want to have a look or to compete next year the date will be 7th Aug 2010 and if you need to know more about getting to this comp you can contact me or Alex and Leanne simays.

The classes at this years show were

Women's novice figure had 3

Men's novice had 6

Men's masters had 10

Women's open figure had 6

Men's open quaifier had 4

Men's open had 5

Thanks for supporting the show.

Alex and Leanne were both there again.

They've been to the last three shows.

Leanne judged and presented prizes for the Men's Masters class and Alex was one of my Backstage Bitches for the day.

Both of them give me a lot of support which I greatly appreciate.

Hey Outlaw ... have you given any thought to running it like the americas cup .... winning nation gets to choose the location for the show down?

Maybe do an NZ show and run a nite of champions that travels accross the ditch for braggin rights. Bledisloe cup styles

No, I definitely wouldn't consider it.

My venue is always booked up 3yrs in advance, so it will be 2012 before I could even consider shifting it.

Even without considering the venue, it would be impossible for me to take the CCI to NZ or any other State in Australia as all of my support crew live in Melb.

The cost of flying them all interstate or overseas and putting them up for accommodation as well as transporting all of my props and equipment that the CCI requires would mean that I could conservatively lose $10,000- $15,000 which I find pretty unmotivating to be honest.

I doubt whether I could find another theatre in NZ or another State in Australia that offers the same facilities that the Capital theatre in Bendigo offers.

The CCI was created to bring the best bodybuilders to Victoria, it was never going to be a show that would move from State-to-State.

I have said it many times before - the CCI is never leaving Bendigo, we are very happy there.
