GASPing for some good creatine

Having spent the last few weeks in recovery mode and dropping around 7 kgs of the good bits I`m keen to crank up the metabolism and kick off a creatine load. I`ve never got much benefit out of kre-alkyline but in the past enjoyed a far better work-out and pump with vanadyl sulphate and creatine albeit for a limited time.

These days bad publicity surrounds most creatine as being of little benefit due to lack of assimilation.

What brands are genuinely still out their which attracts genuine authentic feedback that can be relied upon for a good medium term load and maintenance?

The only bad publicity about creatine monohydrate has been created out of thin air by the manufacturers of Krealkalyn and Creatine esters. They have created problems when there really wasn't a problem in the first place. Creatine mono works, so why try to fix something that ain't broke? The real proven positive information about creatine mono far out weighs the bullshit made up by these manufacturers yet people seem to think creatine monohydrate is bad for them, is going to wreck their kidneys, bloats them up like a balloon, or doesn't work. There is no decent evidence to show esters or krealkalyn is better than mono, and not a lot of evidence to show that esters and "buffered" creatine even works that well. For the money spent on mono versus any other type of creatine, you are going to get far better value for money with creatine monohydrate.

Thanks Flex. Good thoughts. Thats pretty much the space I`m in.

Over the years I`ve had measureable benefits from creatine but the sustained effects vary considerably from a few different brands I`ve encountered.

A lot of the bad publicity generated by the manufacturers conflicts directly with independent studies.

You only have to read the adds when a new engineered food pops out on the market. Once it allegedly gets superseded the original product previously raved about is then portrayed to be useless.
