Maybe try really focusing on stretching right out at the end of the movement after the negative phase... That will work on chins, pull downs, cable rows...

It's something I've read and started doing. I find it's helped me a bit, and has helped with recovery too...

Just my 2 cents so take it for what it's worth :)

Yep what he said. Pull downs I tend to go lighter some days and at the base of each movement flare out the lats, sounds funny as, but works. You'll find with a lot of back excercises you are squeezing your back but usually shoulder blades go more together than flared apart, flare those lats. Can't go wrong with chins.

i third that chins are fantastic, never used to do them back in the school days then my mates some of nz best at the time put me onto them. strength went up heaps and it seems to shape you really well to. same as above i like that strech on back day really feel it and then at the top i squeeze really gets the blood going.
