hey all, i know a few of the members here own sup shops or are closely related to them. I am wondering if it would be possible to get one or two of these shops to post up a members discount :) seriously it would kick arse if the nzbb guys got together and supported other members in their ventures. just a thought any comments??

At RNC in Ponsonby they have a RNC Club Card, which is available to all clientel, that gives you $50-00 bucks to spend on what sups you want when the card is full !!! Plus they have their web site, http://www.rnc.co.nz which gives you 10,15,and20% discs and great monthly specials,plus they have a $2-00 bar tabel and a 50% off tabel,and I bet if NZBB had a special members card or something they would give a good discount rate for the users!!But the trick is not to be to greedy as most retailers have specials and deals always going, but there is a miss conception out there just how much discount a store can give before they start eating away at any profits, so 10-15% disc is actualy pretty good in this industrie beleive it or not . as margins on supplements usaly range from 30 to 50% markups compared to say clothing and house weares which usally acheive between 100 to 250 % markups, thats why clothing stores can have half price sales and still make a good profit, you cant do that on supplements im sorry to say, but I bet you if you went to your local store and told them your usaul supplement purchases per month and said Hey i will buy of you each month if you do me a deal , I am sure they would !!

reviving the old post I started... far too long ago, but it's a good centralisation. any ideas on mates rates for sups. we have endo sports with 10% off marked price for members. hey Andrew! maybe it's worth starting that NZBB friends link to sup shops, where they can print discount codes to members??
