im no expert, but generally most regard muscle tech as overpriced and overrated! as for isa-test, i almost considered it a while back, still may give it a go.

cheat days? depends entirely what youre doing man - if your bulking probly wouldnt hurt if youre on track the rest of the week...etc

post up your training, goals, stats and the big guns will be able to give you advice man

oh and no, rooting isnt gonna stop you gaining lbm, just eat more cals to balance it out! :pfft:

I schedule a good root each day as part of my cardio work. But you wanna rehydrate straight after your session.

wtf!

If you are natural save your test side effects: aggression/ strength/ motivation/ concentration etc for those heavy workouts

Okay okay except maybe Valentines Day and her Birthday ... but remember to schedule your heavy lifting days around those exceptions.

Creakic - I've not tried and not heard anyone else who has.

IsaTest - I have tried and it's as good as taking Tribulus in the AM and ZMA in the PM except I am not impressed with them conveniently putting Trib and ZMA into a single capsule.

The best results are taking them separate as ZMA is a PM recovery supplement so why take it during the day?? You have to cause you need the Tribulus during the day. Kind of counter-productive but it does work there's just cheaper alternatives around like buying Trib and ZMA separately for instance.

creakic: save your money

isatest: thought it was alright, if it was cheaper in nz id say go for it but its way overpriced here for some reason so just do what android suggested

rooting: go hard, but i def notice a decrease in test/aggression if i train the day after a night rooting

1. Good product BIG price.

2. Jury is out - I'd stick to the proven monohydrate

3. Typical cheat meal = 4 big macs and diet coke

4. yes - heat degrades the quality of the protein as it does when you cook your other meals.

5. too much of anything is bad for you - too much protein may store as fat also. clearing excess .... colonic irrigation! moves the undigested meat that gets caught in your bowel and rots

6. not sure .... I have never had too much! :shifty:

Hold your stomach...

I clear out my excess protein with oats, 3 times today :-)

Fibre is the one thing that cleans out your bowels and intestines and 'moves' you like nothing else does, naturally. Try eating 1/2kg (raw weight) of oats each day and by the 2nd day you'll know exactly what I mean. Good question tho, meat can go off inside the body if you eat alot of it and then have a stressful few days (exams coming up, job worries etc) and your body tightens up and inadvertently the meat starts to rot.

Much like feeding fish in freezing cold water, they'll eat the food but it'll rot inside them cause the internals aren't digesting properly.

Oh yeah heat ruins protein, hence why protein that lists ion-exchange whey isolates as it's first main ingredient has little value. It has the highest % of protein but it's a great deal biologically inactive after being furnaced LOL.

Good posts as always Android  however this isn't really true. Meat passes through the stomach in about 2-3 hours and is completely digested with 6 hours.

However I do agree you need to get the system cleaned out (with food/teas not a tube up the butt!) on a regular basis just to make sure the food is being absorbed correctly.

ah my bad. I should have been clearer with my question in regards to protein, sorry ill make my question clearer :)

I take 3 protein shakes on a work out day, 2 on a day off. Most peepz do this ? just wana make sure im not doing damage in the process.

I understand that with taking lots of protein that clacium is needed in the process and if your body does not have it, then it takes it from your bones ( so my PT said, and shes hot so I think shes right! ) :) so with my shakes I use a calci milk.

And also drink wicked amounts of water to :)

Considered taking roids but im adhd and have anger issues anyway so dont wana have roids rage from narm.

Cheers Weener Lad,

I have read enough to believe it takes more than 6 hours to pass right through the body (not just digest in the stomach) and through the 30m of intestines as well.

I know there are discrepencys on this subject, vegans will have us believe that because our intestines are long so it takes many days to pass a meal of meat thru, and others will say it takes just hours.

I can't find the paper from Cornwell university but there are ample references to the content written in the document below...they found that for humans a non-fibrous diet takes a mean transit time of 62.4hrs to pass thru, and a fibrous one takes 40.9hrs.

Useless facts:

For pure carnivores (and we humans are not) the fastest recorded time was a mink in less than 3 hrs, a polar bear takes 17-18hrs before seal meat comes out the other end

http://nature.berkeley.edu/miltonlab/pdfs/meateating.pdf

Never takes 6 hours, I'll steak my next meal on it 8)

It's a common misconception isn't it

You know it's possible that calcium is drawn from the bones during sleep to maintain your proper blood levels, so maybe cutting back on sleep might help.

LOL kidding! That's why we adopted nightcaps of milk a long time ago to reduce the effect.

Our old folk knew what they were doing :-)
