a danger of bbing diets.... my xmas experience

well what a memorable xmas day.. for the wrong reasons. i decided to break my 6 clean meals routine for xmas day, as most do. but after feasting on xmas lunch, which was a shitload of turkey, pasta, veges, ham etc, i was feeling less than ideal. what i thought was indigestion was getting so bad that i decided to do a paris and put my fingers down my throat...

after 'un'eating xmas lunch, i expected the pressure in my lower chest to subside, but no - it got worse. so much so i ended up going to the a+e, long story short a suspected muscle spasm in my stomach, que the muscle-relaxing pill that stopped the pain enough for me to fall asleep..

it seems that my 6 spread meals mustve allowed my stomach to shrink or something, cos my body just could not handle the big meal. surely someone out there has had a similar experience, or otherwise has an opinion on this? :(

oh dear that doesn't sound very good!! I haven't heard of that before, but it must have happened to somebody else?! I can't eat a huge meal even if I try, I just get too full and it hurts if I try and fit too much more in than I normally would. How hard were you trying to fit the food in??!!

On the bright side you've now stretched your stomach a little larger, so you can increase the size of those 6 meals a day :-)

My experience with Xmas so far and the out-laws staying with us is not eating enough meat. I can't just stop, cook and eat when I want sometimes, we're off doing something or going somewhere. Have managed to put on a couple of kg though maybe it's carbing up ay ;-)

i fear that my inability to eat properly is gonna drop my weight, it sucks. i was hoping for xmas to do the opposite!

every year i over indulge at xmas, hence why i started off shaped like a barrel. so i didnt put too much thought into it eating a huge meal. how wrong was i!!!!!

I actually eat lesson Christmas day as with the travelling and the compulsory cricket game usually interferes with the usual 3 hour eating regime. Also for normal people the emphasis is on one big meal and I can't eat a lot in one meal. There is also Christmas pudding and trifle that you are expected to eat.

I have to keep sneak meals in the car or raid the fridge.

I don't know whether the stomach shrinks or you just get accustomed to eating lots of small meals and one big meal upsets the routine physically and mentally.
