Me name is Dre and I am brand spankin new to this site.

Moved to NZ 3 years ago and started woking for a company that has a really nice gym on the premises. So when I started at my new job I had a picture of me posted on the company intranet and boy ho boy was i embarrassed. So I made my self a promise to do something bout me being overweight.

So the promise was that I would never go to work if I had not gone to the gym. And so I have have religiously being going to the gym and i have lost about 12kgs...all well and good! (this took a long 3yrs) And I am still about 14kgs from my recommended BMI weight.

I have been trying various over the counter supplements, diets and different work-out schedules but I guess I have reached a point where i am not seeing any results any more. I am loosing momentom very fast (although still going to the gym religiously).

Just ready the forums I have learnt alot from other members and I am sure that I could be directed/motivated towards positive results guidance and advice.

Anyway I hope I have not just become the record holder for longest intro to this site! LOL!

Good intro, Dre. And not too long at all - so I'm going to ask some more questions. :)

What's your current bodyweight? What's your diet look like on any average day? What do you do for a workout routine?

Hiya all

Thank you for your welcome and comments.....

I just spent an hour typing a detailed reponse including everything from my routine to problems areas and my 9month old boy just woke up... crawled over and switched the pc off!! :( So I will have to start all over again!

Anyway I will try and reply asap as you can imagine things are really hectic with tomorrow being Christmas!

If I dont reply by tonight.....

Happy New Year Peeps!

Now as I was saying....

I am currently only doing cardio...as I dn't want to loose momentum and get out of the routine of going to the gym so I am actually hangin on by a thread.

I am looking for alternate routines now...

I usually do max weight to get a minimum of 6-8 proper reps in but Yeah I think I wanna try to go with lighter weights and higher reps.

Argh! :( Just keep on keepin on I guess.
