20kg protein isolate.....

g'day fellow gym rats, i'm nearlly out of my 1st 20kg protein isolate bag i purchased from davis trading for around $550.00 a couple of months ago. :shock: and was hoping if someone was able to get bulk protein cheaper?? it doesn't seem to matter if i buy bulk or just in the usual 5 pound tubs, they all seem to add up to the same amount of money!! :doh: any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks matt 8)

mate, if you can find a cheaper source than that please LMK! i called Fonterra direct, they said even if i bought 10 sacs of it it still wouldnt work out cheaper.. :-s

well i have a friend who works at fonterra that apparently can get staff prices...... :pfft: but are still waiting on him!! :roll: i've been in contact with fonterra myself, they told me i could buy direct from them if i was to order 100kgs. :doh: i'm covered for another couple of weeks on the protein i have left, so hopefully something will come up in the mean time...... i'll keep you informed.

$550 for 20kgs or 45lbs means you are paying around $60 per 5lbs.

So how much was 100kg? sounds like theres at least a couple ppl interested and you could always advertise at your gym. I'm keen to see how much cheaper it would be

I don't think it would be much cheaper, likely almost the same price, just the minimum amount they will ship to you; 1000kg might be more promising.

Could be wrong though,

You could always buy WPC instead! ~$400 for 20kg, tastes better than the WPI too.
