I used to use whey protein with my oats all the time. I used to use sci-vation whey double choc. because it was think and really sweet. So it worked well with porridge ;)

Now what i do is a whey oatie shake,

Take 1 cup oats and blend them,

add 1 1/2 cups water,

add 2 scoops whey,

add skim milk powder,

and whip it up! :D

I use this method alot, if im using it pre or postworkout i add the neccisary supplements into the mix,

post-workout ill add to it, 2 bananas, 3 tablespoons of glucosamine, 5g l-glutamine, 5g creatine monohydrate.

Hope this helps :D

ah my most favourite meal of the day!

I like to add a bit of cinnamon or nutmeg/ginger.

Onutrition vanilla egg protein powder, either oats which are cold (cooked earlier that day) add a bit of water and scoop of protein and good to go after training.

Or if I cook up a batch in the morning, add the protein after it's cooled down a bit, add some rice milk or water to ensure good consistency.

I don't mind Red 8 rice protein.

or if I want eggcel 1x 50g serve, pure egg whites, but it has a taste to it, so perhaps a bit of sugar free maple syrup or sugar free caramel, mashed banana or berries.

Dymatize is ok, butter cream toffee, or Onutrition vanilla creme which my sister does.

Never add protein when oats are being cooked or just off the stove.

Nothing wrong with a bit of scrambled porridge, or pomlette. I used to do that - it works quite well.

It sounds kinda gross thats all, i may have to try it just to see what you guys are talking about :D

Oats and egg whites - a standard issue breakfast. You have been missing out!

FYI - PVL Isostack is egg and milk way blend. great in the morning too.

nah not all all, the vanilla is not that bad now. Have to admit that I gagged the first time I had that protein, but what can you do when your lactose intolerant? soy is too gluggy when I've mixed that one in

yeah, when I'm pov or have run out, I've done the 5 eggwhite beat til fluffly and fold into oats whilst at the final stages of cooking. It works, I get my protein and carbs in that's all that matters.

My breakfast goes like this. The night before I mix 1 cup oatmeal with 1 cup water and some artificial sweetener. Microwave for 2 minutes and put in fridge.

In the morning put 8 egg whites in a blender, add the pre-cooked oatmeal and blend for 10 seconds.Put in a pre-heated non stick frying pan lined with a little olive oil. Cover and cook. I go and have a shower and get dressed while it is cooking to save time. Turn the pancake and cook the other side.

When cooked put either frozen rasberries or fresh strawberries on top and eat.

If you are in a hurry you can cook the pancake the night before and then heat in the morning or at work but it seems to taste better if cooked AM.

Simply Horleys ICE Chocolate or Strawberry + 1/2 cup of oats and 200mls of water in a blender for me.

It tastes better than either of those proteins just mixed in a shaker.

On weekends, when I have more time: oats, eggs + whites, cottage cheese, vanilla essence in the blender then onto a pan for a protein pancake. Then I top it with super-trim yoghurt (sometimes mixed with choc protein) and sometimes some chopped up berries :)
