For reference I always review my protein mixed with chilled water in a shaker with nothing added or in a blender with water and ice.

Taste - Oh my freaking goodness. This stuff tastes like crap. Soo nasty. I don't think I can even establish the chocolate flavour in this. It just tastes like chemical. This is without doubt the worst flavour I have tried of ON.

Sweetness - No comment, I tipped half a mug of espresso in to try and mask the chemical flavour and even that didnt help anything

Texture - Quite "thin" in water, I think they could do with some thickener in this stuff. I'm sure it would be excellent with milk, and when blended with a few cubes of ice it is better but you can still tell no where near as thick as other brands. I'm a sucker for thick shakes.

Nutrient Profile - As with most of the other flavors in ON 100% Whey there is 120 calories per scoop, and with only 1 gram of fat per serving and 4g of carbohydrates it is still very low carbohydrate friendly.

Mixability - This stuff mixes very, very well, just like all the ON 100% Whey I have tried. Water + a shaker is all you need, a few quick shakes and there will be no powder left on the bottom or sides.

Cost - As with most flavors of ON you can pick this up for relatively cheap from a online store or even from New World in Victoria Park if you are lucky enough to live nearby. I don't know how available this flavor is though.

Just in regards to all the ON Gold standard and texture, I think you'll find they are all a bit thin in water coz of being instantized (made to dissolve in water). If anybody really cares about the finer details

Bet it tastes better then Dymatize blue berry muffin, though I like Dymatize products. I take the 12 hour protein religiously. 8)

Yep, I like Dymatize products, they do a good banana flavour, and a berry, but 5lb of green apple was a LOT to get through.

It is their best selling in the us and outsells any other flavor 3:1 on our site... for some weird reason. My favorite Cookies & Cream
