I thought you guys might find this interesting.

The bloke in the link below is a great example of not trying to stay lean all the time but rather building as much quality muscle as possible before worrying about having abs.

Definitely not the bulk until you're a big hog method but rather just try keep the BF% reasonable and eat and GROW. I've seen this approach mentioned on here a few times but I've been too busy losing bodyfat and hindering my muscle gains to pay attention. :?

i'VE AHD THIS BROUGHT UP IN A FEW OTHER FORUMS. WHERE THEY ARE SO RELIANT ON WEIGHT AND PUTTING VERY LITTLE EMPHASIS ON STRENGHT AND MUSCLE GAINS. IT'S ALL i'M OGING TO BE 300POUNDS (SHIT). i TOLD THEM ONCE THAT IF THEY WERE SO OBSESSED WITH WEIGHT GAINING THEY COULD EAT MACd KFC AND OTHER TAKEAWAYS AND THEY WILL BE 150KG VERY QUICKLY. DIDN'T GO DOWN TOO WELL. I'M GLAD TO SEE THAT THE GUYS ON THIS FORUM ARE LEVELLED ABOUT THE APPROACH AND ARE USING STRENGTH AND MUSCLE GAINS AS A REAL INDICATOR OF QUALITY LEAN MASS. KIA KAHA EVERYONE. :)

He looks like a bit of serious powerlifter that dude and looking at the muscles in his lower back I'd say he can lift some serious weights. I'd also imagine he's been at it for a fair few years.

265lbs lean - 120kg - he must be pretty tall as well, because that's freaking massive.
