Depends what your definition of a detox is, eating lots of fruit and veg, drinking loads of water, eating clean and cutting out the rubbish is the best. Don't waste money on supplements that could do more harm than good. If you have any illnesses or conditions you take meds for you should also check with your GP before going on a detox.

IMO detox diets=waste of time & money

THATS WHY WE WERE BORN WITH A LIVER & KIDNEYS!! hehe

there is no need to detox unless your diet is poor,you smoke,and/or drink really. the word 'detox' is simply just a marketing term and has no medical meaning at all. if you look on the back of the detox diet packages sold inhealth shops most of whats in it are the vitamins and minerals which are found in multi vitamins. i think detox diets are a wastre of time and money.sticking to drinking water is the best solution.hope this helps

Yep I agree with most of the comments here. Clean eating, lots of green vegies, lean good sources of protein and as much water as possible will clean you out (detox) you real good. I need to do this :? Shame it doesn't include red wine :shifty:

I was speaking to someone recently who was considering the Lemon Detox Diet. I've always been a bit sceptical of detoxing, but I was horrified to find this "diet" consisted of replacing all meals for 10-14 days with a mix of lemon juice and a proprietary mix of palm- and maple-syrup

sounds like that hollywood diet that the stupid celebs use to get into a size 6.

I do agree that lemon juice in warm water on an empty stomach when rising, is good to stimulate digestive juices. That's all I would do

Only 3 times a day! LOL

- I used to have 3-4 Oat shakes a day (cup of oats w/ 300 mL water, blend that sh*t and drink it fast!!) and it certainly "gets things going!!!"
