NOT lOOKING GOOD

Went to the NZFBB Nth Is Champs today, there were only 19 or so competitors and very little audiance in attendance. Not sure on the evenings show as I did not go, but 19 athletes is not a good sighn , and some of the athletes that were there,were in the last 2 shows!!.

I hate to keep painting a dull colourless scene here but it is not getting any better. But dont worrie I have a plan, but unfortinatly you will have to wait a little longer to hear it,but if it works it will be the only true way that this sport of ours should go, its all based on logic realy, and I have all ready had the feellers out on its possiblity and so far so good!

I've been thinking of going to a comp for a look and I'm just trying to pluck up the courage to be part of the audience :oops:

I'm not sure but unless you go to a gym or visit websites like this you may not even know there are shows on.

Maybe more advertising to the general masses through different media would attract a few rubber neckers like me along :shifty:

most shows arent advertised too well from what I have seen outside of te sport and associated websites. You should get a long to one though and see what you think.

Frogie you seem so Nieve, what makes you think there will be a Nationals,havent you been reading the problems faceing the NZFBB of late(and all federations for that matter)no competitors equals no money , poor budgeting equals debt,no stratagy and poor management by committes equals, no shows!!--- thats is of course you have around 100k(50k to clear the dept,50k to have some capital to keep going) to chuck in as a sponcer as that is what is needed.!

not so much being naive, just more of a case the only shows i know of are in Auckland. I don't know how the other regions are doing with numbers. nor have I seen the books previously so I don't know how much the organisation has in capital, asset, investment. that may be able to get tapped to sort out the cash. for the shows in the immediate future. I honestly can see the NZFBB finishing off this season of shows with the nationals, and than maybe sorting shit out.

Yep like I said nieve!! They have no investments, no assets, and no capital, but are in dept up to 50k!!!,just telling it like it is buddy, the two shows that are likely to be successfull are the CNIs and the Nationals, but if a successfull show gets in around $2500 profit(ie Wellington) plus the ongoing accumulation of debt I think the deficit will be far greater by the end of the year, already the CNIs is worried about, if it will be held or not!!, you can request a annual accounts summary from the NZFBB if you wish,if you are a member!!
