Salbutamol an alternative to clenbuterol?

Hey all.

I'm wondering how widely salbutamol (asthma inhalers) is used, or thought of as an effective alternative to clenbuterol.

This link here which was a medical study done on rats showed some quite convincing results with regards to skeletal muscle mass and carcass composition.

Does anyone have experience first hand, or know how common it's use is and even whether it's worth using it outside of it's intended purpose?

IMO you'd be pissing into the wind mate. im a athsmatic and its never had a positive effect on strength or weight if anything id say it has a negitive effect gives you headaches tremors and a general feeling of weakness. and ive taken huge amounts from time to time (for athsma of course)

I guess if you are a rat it would be a great option! Just 'cause it works on animals don't mean it works on people!

i use salbutamol inhalers for asthma and wouldnt recommend it for any other purpose. except when i cant sleep i take a hit :pfft:

ive read a studie claiming it could help u in the gym. tested it and didnt notice a difference.ive had 1 guy want to buy 1 to use as a supplement lol.

In my experience, you can use salbutamol as an alternative for clen, but then you must use the tabs and not the inhalers. Apparantly the dose delivered in the inhalers is to small to have a noticible effect. If you take 3x4mg tabs during a day, you will certainly feel it, but the clen's effect is definitely more pronounced.It's a cheaper more available alternative (here in SA anyway) but it's definitely not as potent as Clenbuterol. The sides are also much less than real clen.

could be more effective for someone who has never used it.

each puff of an inhaler has 100mcg of the stuff so it wouldnt be hard to take a decent dose.

yeah its cheap 3 dollars for 4(each has 200 puffs) with a prescription ofcoarse

Its sold as albuterol from research chems, it is effective but has to be dosed 3-4 times a day due to its short life. I think I ran it at 16 mgs a day, it worked but not as well as clen.

unless you got tabs you wastin your time dude,its a beta 2 selective agonist b2 receptors are in the lungs only.

b1 are in the muscle, and since its b2 selective, it has little effect on muscle unless given in high doses due to the increased affinity to the b1 receptors. around 1000x....the only effect on skeletal muscle would beis fine tremors
