Kumara pancakes with dipping sauce

Have switched from oats to kumara for the time being I have this fabo recipe, don’t you just the innovative thinking when your on a calorie restricted diet. All about taste baby!!!!

Great for pre-workout or breakfast.

2 egg whites – 32cals

{1 x 25g scoop of egg protein powder (albumen) Eggcel is a good brand. – 56 cals

Or

{1 x 25g scoop of rice protein powder 120cals

100g kumara (raw) boil them, mash or pureed. -77 cals

a touch of milk to get consistency right

Add Cinamon, nutmeg or ground ginger to flavour.

Whisk whites and egg protein powder, then fold in the kumara.

Stir in well to ensure a nice batter.

Cook like a pancake with ricebran oil spray

queens sugar free maple syrup (if partial)

Protein sauce, any flavour protein powder add some water to make paste or add more to get the consistency to your liking. 110 cals.

I use Optimum nutrition vanilla egg protein powder 1 scoop, also add a drizzle of Queens sugar free maple syrup on top as well.
