What to Eat???

I work till midnight come home sleep the up about 0630 and the train at at the gym at 0730. What should I eat before I train to give me some energy to power through my weights workout?? Have been just having 2 weetbix and a protien shake then a proper meal and more protien after the workout. This early morning routine will only be for 3 months. I also notice i am not A as strong as when I train in the afternoons. What do you guys think????

Oats, a big bowl, with a banana in it and your protein shake. Also a strong coffee will prob help but i assume your already doing that. I find im not as strong if i lift within a hour and a half of waking up partly lower blood sugar, partly cns. Maybe look into some kind of pre workout supplement if you got spare coin, the last sample of n.o shotgun i tried kicked my ass.

Same problem mate.. cant train in the morning.. just not enough carb and water in the body, still sleepy.

However, was reading Arnold's encyclopedia and he has a paragraph advising lifters that the best time to lift is the morning... anyone know his email so we can confirm his pre work out meal ?
