Leg press "form"

Brad

Recommended Posts

Just a quick Q? - when I do the leg press I go right down as far as I can and press from there (taking from the advice I've been given here on squatting ass to grass) - I've seen a lot of guys going to only 90 degrees between quads and calves - If I do that I can do heaps more weight but I feel like I'm cheating??? They've told me it's to stop injuries??

What do you guys reckon is best??

I keep my feet close together & high on the pad & drop as far down as I can. I remove the safety "bars", & quite often hit the bottom of the sledge.

I've found this is the best way for my quads to grow. My weight has dropped a little but I have no doubt my form is bang on doing it this way.
