haha yea pooper just came up so yea ... lol

double dose is just double the serving size. i have just started taking the stuff so would it take time for the body to adjust?

so you think double for on days and single for off days?

na body will adjust by making more muscle!

yup double after workouts and singles any other time, so singles on day off or if your having 3 shakes a day make two of them singles and post workout double - oh and add some dextrose into your post workout shake as well, dextrose can be bought at any supermarket in the sugar isle and its dirt cheap.

what does dextrose do?

i looked it up and it is a broken down form of sucrose.

sucrose breaks down to dextrose and fructose and dextrose is 50% less sweeter then sucrose. it is also the cheapest form of sugar

nutritional info is 13cal carbs and 0 protein and 0 fat per teaspoon.

..confused lol

It creates an insulin spike within your body.Drink it straight after your workout.10-15 mins after that have your protein shake.I was informed that by creating an insulin spike and then having your shake it drives the protein into your muscle.

oh thats sweet! thanks a lot inspector!

any other methods that can help boost muscle?

lol sorry forgot to add that bit, youll find that the most important part is diet, then rest, then training.

so get your diet sorted with lots of veges, clean carbs and protein from meat sources and youll be on your way

Waxy Maize also cool ,if you want to replenish glycogen stores quick with a shake.

Too much protein can be bad, there is a limit to how much your body can use in a day for building muscle individual genetics determine that. If you're growing off what your eating and drinking increasing protein intake beyond that might not yield any benefits, just increase your food bill/rate your body burns excess protein. As with most things it's probably best to increase it slowly over time.

Insulin is the hormone which controls the permeability of cells to getting nutrients. Think of it as a key to a lock, it binds to cells and tells them to let in nutrients like amino acids, glucose and proteins.

You're unlikely to use more than about 2gms of protein per kg of body weight per day.

Also, everything i've read about post-workout nutrition concentrates on a larger dose of fast-absorbing carbohydrate (e.g. dextrose) with only a small portion of protein (potentially a third to two-thirds of a normal shake).

It's the meal 1 hr later where you want to dominate some solid protein.
