Welcome Tornadowalker  Don't listen to Specter he's just silly

Whats is your diet looking like at the mo? Obviously doing weights, how often and are you getting in some cardio as yet? I went from probably over that BF% and 110kgs and started with 3 day split, 3 day cardio and increase progressively.

5' 6" 89kg 33% big fatty lol have just started with whey protein and thermomax

Welcome aboard,

Hate to see money going down the drain so -

Ditch the Thermomax it's a waste of $$$ till your diet is 100%

get yourself some lean meat with that money instead, like chicken breast or tuna.

Welcome!!!

You will find this a great place to meet other gym crazies and you will be encouraged to work hard and reach your goals \:D/

I started out at 81kg and 38ish% body fat (off the scale so the gym instructor had to guess!), 9 months later 63kg and 20% body fat...

so YOU CAN DO IT!!!!

Aiming for 12% is really the only way to go!!!

Yeah best to split it up I do Back & Bis, chest & Tris, shoulders & traps and legs. Some people split their legs up with abs. I do abs 3-4 times per week but forget to stick in on my journal  To be honest I started out on the Body4life and that worked a treat, can't really remember the concept but yeah think it is the 3 weights 3 cardio from memory.

Contest prep give up alcohol totally, however off season a glass or 2 is fine  Though heaps of people on here don't drink at all....like ever, madness I know :pfft:

Blasphemy - red wine is ALL GOOD! And so is black coffee - best fat burner around. I think 12% is really too low to maintain all year round. Good for summer, ease off in winter (unless your aiming to compete) 16% for women is good (interpret = sane!)

I used to drink like the petrol tank in my car. Gave it up now cant stand the taste or the hangover. Still go through a tank of petrol every second day though. :D

Yep I love red wine too Flamer, but only had it on comp day over the past few months. I presume you mean competition day. I will be drinking more than a glass or 2 after Nationals :pfft:
