Coming up to auckland in a few weeks for a concert (slipknot/machinehead) will be staying on queen street could i please get some input as to some good bars/clubs in that area and a good gym as id like to get in a workout or two while up there, and anything else exciting that you would recommend doing ?

There was a phat club opposite Maccas just off queen st..... techno/drum and bass. Pretty sure I was the only one in there not on pingas...

other than that me and my mates just assumed we had somehow been transported to a third world country and had fun playing spot the white guy.

NZMM you went to gay teenie bopper clubs while you were up here so shut your pie-hole. I think your talking about Met and Code which is kinda opposite Burger King on Queen Street. Met & Code both play house/trance music....quite different from techno/drum n bass lmao

I'm gonna suggest somewhere where you'll feel right at home Luigi: Providor (aka provide a whore). On saying that I think it could be 2guns old stomping ground when he gets desperate on an early Sunday morning and he hasnt had much luck!
