hi all

glad to find the site looking foward to knowledge sharing :)

about me:

i am not a serious bodybuilder just someone who is looking to improve my appearance and get ripped so to speak.

for the last 4 months I have been working out 5 times a week (weights)

i started on a 2 day split mass gain and creatine at 85ks 6ft

after about 3 months I was less fat and more muscle and was 87-88kgs

since then i have been trying to lose the gut - and have learnt alot about nutrition, weight training, and supplements -primarily from internet - esp bodybuilding.com. - nice to see a nz site too!!

my workout has evolved to a 4 day split - i do chest every 5 days - because i enjoy it most - i think i recover fast enough and it is an area I want to emphasise.

Instead of taking mass gain i now take cutting formula and regualr whey. also cycle on creatine still. Thanks to this site have sourced some hi gi sugars for post workout. Nutrition wise i have developed a spreadsheet with foods I eat and their nutrition details so i can record my daily intake accuratly. This has become more important since i have been cutting. presently i aim for 190:190:45 and a total of 1950 cals apx.

After a month of cutting i am down to 82-3kgs and feeling great. Abs are becoming more defined! finally.

my goal is to get to a point where I look great 78-80kgs - abs and chest (lean) and then maintain this through summer. Next winter il spend more time building muscle since this really is my first 6 months of serious nutrition and weight training.

Great to be here - hope that wasn't too long an intro/about me
