yeah trademe rules prevent most foods i think and sport supplements. Thats mass gainer, full of sugars likely. Not such a good deal as shipping will be extra likely. Make your own massgainer with whey, oats, banana and flaxseed oil/peanut butter or the likes.

They don't allow the sale of dietary supplements on trademe. I'd say the main reason being is that if you look at zillion you'll see a rash of cheap crap products claiming all sorts of miracle cures which is against the NZ dietary supps regulations. I'd wager TM couldn't be arsed having to filter through everything and check that every product was legal so just put a blanket ban on all supplements.

As ive said previously you can get supps off trademe but you have to get in fast before they get withdrawn.I just recieved my purchase off there.I managed to score 8kgs of Fonterras wpc for $120 \:D/ through a guy who was selling his bench and weights on there.Ive also emailed trademe and asked why they withdraw protein powder etc and got the response that they will not allow people to sell products that could possibly be harmful to your health.Basicaly they dont want any law suits against them.

A couple of years ago people were selling all sorts of stuff they imported from the usa on there some of which were banned here. I remember there was a complaint about a couple of products so I guess they just stopped the whole lot rather than have to go through everything.

Like it was said though the odd thing pops up, of you are lucky to get in before they withdraw it.

yeah I used to sell on there, the thing I dont understand is, they say that you cant sell anything that can be deemed as 'for human consumption'...(it could be harmful)ok fair enough but it doesn't stop people from selling used footwear, clothing, used makeup etc. Things like fungal diseases, skin/dust mites, all sorts of things are carried in those things
