help fat and whey !

im currently having 2 whey protien shakes aday but everyone i see takes it with water, i much prefer it with milk is there any benefit from taking it with water ??

also on average if eating 6 small protien meals aday how much fat is toomuch for 1meal, i usually try keep it under 4g of fat? is that too much?

If your trying to cut then water cuts out the sugars from milk. You prob dont want to go lower than 50gm fat a day, it will lower your hormones. If your not drinking whey post workout then a bit of peanut butter will add necessary fat to your protein shake if your low for the day. Cut carbs mostly then fat.

It depends on your body weight, body fat and goal !

What are your stats, and what are you trying to achieve.

If you are having protein first thing in the morning on waking up or immediately post training, you want it in water - so the amino acids are free circulating asap.

If you are using it during the day, I don't think it matters.

What is your current intake of fats and the rest of your statS?

yeah im currently siing at about 13% bf last time i checked

wanting to cut that right down to about 3% and get some more gains in muscle, 85kgs, 6'2 and a half

i have 2 whey shakes

1 post cardio

1 post weights

as i do both workouts seperatly

cardio is usually at 6am on an empty stomach then get the whey into me straight after

basically cut all carbs out of my diet and it consists of 6 protien portions and veges and fruit drink lots of water throughout the day

At 6'2 and 85kgs at 13% body fat... you want to cut down to 3% ? ? :shock:

Why ?

At that height and weight you have the very real risk of "disappearing". Do you realise 3% body fat is achieved by a few elite pro bb'ers for literally a day or two during contest?

Sub 5% you start to loose fat around your organs, this cannot be maintained and it is not healthy.

Also when you are that tall if you loose that much weight, you will not look muscly, you will look shrunk and starved.

pro bb'ers look good at 3% - 6% cause they weigh in at 110- 120kgs at around 5'10 - 5'11 height.

If you want to "look good" for summer, maybe get your body fat down to 10% or something and look at a clean bulk.

Regarding diet, I was doing something very similar until I started a thread on here and realsied I was barely getting some 1600 calories a day.... too much of a cut below my required maintanance level.

What fruits are you eating and when ?

I don't think cutting carbs of entirely is viable.... it makes sense in the last couple of weeks or so leading up to a contest.

How many grams protein are you getting in now?

What fats are you getting in ?

I am pretty darn certain if you did a macro break down you will find you are at something well below 2000 calories.

lol at 6"2 85 kgs and 5% would be ideal imho

im currently 6'0 and 82kg - 1/2 way to lean

if you want ot look huge then go ahead for 90 -100 kg

alot of people just use this site to learn what bodybuilders do to achieve their dramatic physiques and apply that to their personal leass dramatic goals of having a muscular toned lean physique muchlike fitness models you see.

as for you diet - fark man this is 2nd ive seen today with <100g carbs daily - ur farking mad. read up on bodybuilding.com for a diet mate

off the cuff tho the ideal ratio for cutting is 40:40:20 so around 175 -200g carbs is the minimum u shuld be having each day. 50 g should be hi gi and straight after workout 50g should be 1st thing in morning and 50g for morning tea and lunch. if you want results stop being stupid low gi carbs will not make u fat!!!!
