Looks like a really cool site to be joined up with, so I'm stoked to be here.

Just a little background on me...

I'm 33y/o male, 5'11.5", 110kg. Probably about 20kg overweight due to numerous injuries. Lower back since I was 11, and 3 calf injuries last year alone!

I have a mixed martial arts background, Judo, Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Tai Chi and Kempo Karate. Mostly 3-5months each apart from Tae Kwon Do, which I studied for 1 year.

I did rowing from ages 14-19.

Picked up the weights from ages 17-20.

At 19 I got glandar fever, I lost most of my strength and started on a path of self destruction of alcohol and drugs.

By the time I was 24 I had pulled my head in and got quite fit, but still struggled regaining my former strength.

25 I got a head kicking while walking home alone from the pub, jumped from behind from 2 skinheads. This farked me up for 6-7years. But I'm still not right.

Now at 33 I have run into my old mate who is NZ Amatuer Boxing Champion.

I have started Boxing and lifting weights with him, I'm sore as hell but loving every minute of it!

So thats most of my story, all you need to know for now anyway.

Looking forward to meeting some of you and getting tips and tricks etc...

Later :)
