TAN TAN TAN TAN

Laver

Recommended Posts

I have read through the other posts on the site regarding this, cept all is for comp prep which isn't the level I'm after.

I want to know how I should tan for my final set of this NZBB challenge,

That is the only time I'll be using it, so I don't want to buy more than one product.

What is a good product I can use by itself to achieve a decent result, I'm not fused about being perfect, just not as white as I am currently.

I'm a pasty white skin tone and just want to be a lot darker than I am currently for the photos.

I have a sponge brush thing to apply it and some Cancer society Tanning lotion which my sister said I could use, I wonder if that could be an under or overcoat to whatever I end up buying?

dude tanning lotion tends to only work if u lie out in the sun

u need fake tan

imo use garnier its really good

or pizbun and get the dark tan one - its bout 35 bux max-usualy 29 mark depending upon where u go

u wana exfoliate (rub off dead skin cells) before u tan, and preferably shave for it to go on evenly

then u wana put one coat on about 2hour b4 u go bed, and dont rub up on stuff, then another 1 hour before u go bed, wait for it to dry as much as poss then sleep and wen u wake up have ure shower to wash off excess

:D

sum one onces recommened No-Ad, but i think its crap. and got some dream tan in the big yellow squeeze bottle (not the dream tan overcoat comp colour) thats crap too.

Opps sorry small it is a fake tan, not a tanning lotion, I'm not down with the lingo!

And thanks for the advice, $30 is about my price range too!

So lets say I do the tanning Saturday night as you recommended, do I do anything Sunday (Pic day) beside have the light shower?

I could put another coat on if I wanted to be darker again then another light shower some time after?

ummm...

well thats why i recommend two coats that sat nite

say you go to be at 11PM

so

8PM-shower/shave exfoliate

9PM-1st, quite thick coat-dont skimp, but it should sink in; rub it in good and evenly...wait around let it dry for about 20-30mins, yet this means very naked for a while (well to a PL its v naked to a BB its overdressed :pfft: )

10PM-second coat, your skin should feel like there is residue on it, but not sticky, second coat rub it in realy good, and wait longer 30-40mins to let it dry, pop on a teeshirt and go to bed

9AM-wen u wake up hava look in the mirror and inspect you should be noticably darker, then hava mild, not hot shower. it will look like alots coming off but its just excess, dont worry and dont scrub or itch yourself, this will leave patches

dont rekon its worth it doing one on sun AM because its quite uncomfortable and sticky u wont be able to do anything bcoz ul feel icky and ul smell, just two on sat nite and sleep on it does the trick

(trust me; experienced)

If you're just doing it for the NZBB Challenge, you probably won't need the competition tanners. They're designed for stage lights, so I think you'd find them too dark for "normal" settings. Just a common fake tan product from the chemist or supermarket should do the trick. And it's likely to be cheaper too.
