prob about 14 years ago my training partner died at the gym. he was doing chin ups and had a brain hemorage, he was only 20, there was nothing anyone could do as he died instantly. i remember having to go to the morgue with the police to formally identify him. It was just one of those things poor guy, was gonna happen anyway, just happened to be while he was at the gym.

This one cracked me up:

The look on his face when he turns around is priceless.

Saw a guy have an epileptic fit while using the treadmill, which threw him back into the wall, then sanded his face on the belt.. Nasty.

Worked with a chick who was fixing a jammed seated row machine. Leaned in to tug on the pin, which finally came out, but sent the arm of the machine flying back into her face. Broke her jaw.

I didn't have an accident in the gym as such but when I was lifting in the city, I had quite the legs workout one night and was late for the crossing at the intersection on queen street. I tried to run but my legs had other ideas :disgusted: Not really the spot to fall on your face. Took me ages to get back up. Cars honking, people screaming "Get up! Why don't u get up? Run boy!" Such a nice bunch of people Aucklander's are, I had a nice fuzzy warm feeling the rest of the night.
