Frogie I think you have the right idea, training to better yourself not to be bigger than someone else.

There are alot of ways to get results and keep on getting results without using.

My partner used and he was happy with the results to start with but then no matter what drugs he took he wasnt satisfied,(and he Looks fantastic to everyone else). The drugs really do alter the mind and he has lost all focus on why he trains and loves to lift weights.

He had a doctor helping him to come off them in the end. He almost lost his life. Once clean he was so depressed. He felt tiny at 120kg.

Not good to go out in public with either because of anger rages etc.

I loved a real muscled man but now prefer a more normal sized physique with a healthy, mind and sole.

 I see where your comming from though, what once was big becomes standard and the cycle goes on right up untill the person is a monster and still thinks they are small. Alot of people tell steroid newbies to do a few things before they start using, one is to decide how many cycles you are going to do in your lifetime and stick by it, i think thats good advise.

Believe it or not it's called Bigorexia. Recognised in the U.S as a illness simular..... but the opposite of, anorexia. There was a documentary in the U.K about a guy who trained took gear ect. Did any thing he could do to get bigger. He was around 130kg solid but thought he was small. Couldn't even look at himself in the mirror.

WARNING TO ALL WHOM ARE THINKING ABOUT TRYING STEROIDS!!!!

This is what can happen to YOU....... Trust me, I too have felt like this guy. Depression Kills allot of Bodybuilders around the world. Once you start its hard to stop. Steroids are themselves not additive, but what is additive is how they make you look and feel. Bigger, stronger, faster, younger. All these thing are appealing to the beginner. Just remember it could happen to YOU!!!!!

Ahhh no kenzie chick, I do all my own Nutrition as I am qualified in this field, oh except my BF readings as ya cant do them yourself!!

And whilst talking about Bigorexia, LA is very "true" in this observation, it is a very real problem for the steriod user, one thing I suggest is this, If you are contemplating useing steriods, then think about all the ins and outs of the practise based on a minimal of ten years use,if this seems a extremly long and non viable time for use, and a monetry out lay over this 10 year period you are not prepared to make, THEN DONT, take longer in your approach to your goal and readjust your goals based on this, for once you start probability says you will be a long term ,never satisfied user!!! That is the nature of the beast, and if you do go on, ABUSE not USE is the killer!!
