Hi everyone from the depths of Rolleston, Christchurch.

It's good to be back online!

Hows everyones Nationals training going?

Ive found the transition from working as a self employed PT in Aucks to helping my in laws Irrigation Business in Christchurch to be a challenge.(Lots of heavy deadlifting of irrigation pipe and site work/plenty of packing and planning food intake), Still its a means to an ends until I can decide on where/when I begin PT again and if i go full or part time etc.

I have joined the Lincoln Uni Gym, as the local Rolleston gym was full. I am really pleased with the Lincoln Gym although they got rid of the hack squat machine one week after I joined(tisk, tisk).

Trainings going well and the gym is pretty well equipt with 2 power racks, Smiths Machine, Leg Press, 3 incline Adjustable Benches, 2 Flat, BB Row Bench,4 Way X Cable Cross over, 2 Lat Pull Downs, 2 Chest Press Machines, Plate Loaded Shoulder Press, Chin/Dip Machine, 2 Ham curl Machines, Adjustable Pec Deck/Rear Delt Machine, Preacher Curl Bench, Dip Belt etc and Dumbells that go to 65kg(although I only break those out for shrugs!).

The dieting is quite tough this time as my job is very physical, so the lowered energy intake does play games with your head and energy levels,(thank god for Caffeine), still on track though and would really appreciate hearing how everyone elses Nationals preps are going. I'm doing Nabba Nationals, Labour Weekend.

PS: Thanks for the Links on Music Editing Software, Even a computer illiterate hack such as my self managed to figure out Audacity, Thanks Again!

Cheers, Thanks for that Flamer, It's good to hear that everything is going well.

Yes working outside in Christchurch has it's moments: On a nice day i'll be working at the base of the mountains which is amazing, on a bad day, you can't even see the mountains and are wet from start to finish!

Looking foward to being there, don't know how i'll do. all I can do is train hard, diet strictly and practise my posing along with getting my colour dark enough, the rest is out of my hands. I am pretty lean 6 weeks out so im pretty happy with that, i've just got to hold my muscle and slowly get sharper with out self destructing or losing too much!

I think staying fairly lean from my last show has helped, I'm enjoying not having to do any cardio yet! The Diet, Training and physical nature of work seem to be keeping me pretty lean.

Best of luck to you too Flamer, I think doing those extra shows this year will really pay dividends for you! They are just real valuble experiences mwith regard to dialling in and presentation.

Look foward to seeing you and other NZ BB.Co people there! Best Wishes.
