Pre-Workout Xtreme is the most intense pre-workout product on the market in the world today. For experienced supplement users only.

2 serves of Pre-Workout Xtreme contains a full dose of Creatine, Argnine, Beta Alanine, and Citrulline Malate. If you are using 2 serves you do not need extra supplementation of any of these ingredients.

Unlike other pre-workout products, Pre-Workout Xtreme has been formulated using clinically effective doses of each ingredient. We recommend you use only a small dose to assess tolerance.

Tingling/Pins & Needles may occur from the high levels of Beta Alanine in this product.

What to expect:

* Increase in Muscle Fullness and Pumps

* Increase in Strength and Power

* Increase Muscle Workload

* Increase in Endurance and Stamina

* Increased Vascularity (your veins will become more prominent during training)

* Increased Training Intensity, Motivation, and Drive

* Quicker Recovery Time during exercise

USAGE:

Pre-Workout Xtreme contains a large dose of an amino acid called Beta Alanine. This is an amino acid that increases muscle workload and reduces fatigue however it can cause a 'tingling' sensation for a short time after ingestion.

It is important to assess your tolerance to this product. Start with 1/2 scoop, 45minutes before training. If you do not experience excessive tingling or itching you may increase to 1 full scoop. Advanced users may move up to 1 1/2 and then 2 full scoops as they feel comfortable.

After 12 weeks of continuous use, cease use for 4 weeks.

So what exactly does Beta Alanine do to cause these tingling feelings?

"This tingling is due to the Beta-Alanine. Researchers theorize that it is caused by the activation of dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neurons being activated by Beta-Alanine. In the presence of Beta-Alanine, DRG neurons cause multiple action potentials, whereas in the absence only a single action potentials occur." http://www.firstendurance.com/optygenhp_qa.html

or this

"Though not completely understood, the tingling sensation is a natural part of consuming a sufficient dose of beta-Alanine One theory states that the tingling is caused by Beta-Alanine binding to nerve receptors, exciting the nerves and causing them to fire off at random. Many of these nerves are situated just below the skin’s surface, resulting in a prickling/pins-and-needles sensation at certain skin locations.

Another theory holds that beta-Alanine is a nitric oxide potentiator. No, beta-Alanine does not generate nitric oxide - it potentiates (magnifies) nitric oxide function, making its effects stronger and longer lasting. So, when you consume beta-Alanine, wherever your body is making nitric oxide at that point in time, the beta-Alanine will magnify the nitric oxide effect and you will feel extra blood flowing through the capillaries close to your skin surface (it is because of the beneficial nitric oxide magnifying effect of beta-Alanine that we suggest consuming beta-Alanine immediately prior to working out )." http://www.alignlife.com/cart/detail.php?id=1080

A bit off topic, but I am very sceptical about all these NO or similar based pump supplements. What is the point of these drinks ?

Yes recover and increased stamina.. why dont you just mix some creatine, BCAA and L glutamine into water with some dextrose ?

Cell voluminisers.. whats the big deal.. surely enhancing your pump by engorging your cells isnt making you grow larger, or stronger or attain more shape apart from the short term effect when you are training ???

There was a short discussion about this a while ago, I agree with that the pump doesn't do much, I guess these help with the intensity of your workout and you energy levels, the stamina and recovery is obviously good effects.

Your mixture could be more cost effective I guess if you buy in decent quantities

sounds like a pretty sweet product, and its legal here in nz ?!?! :?

I wouldn't see why it wouldn't be legal, standard NO ingredients. It's got the same active ingredients as 'Horsepower' (which also has decent doses), and which Nutratech also have for a pretty sweet price too.

this is the reasoning i was given behind the sensations. in some people it has also been known to cause a flush or redness to the skin, in some, these sensations deminish with prolonged use.

beta-alanine promotes intramuscular carnosine levels, hence the increase in energy and why it is often stacked with creatine for a double whammy. some studies show that maximum benefit from beta alanine use occurs after 10 weeks, dosage range is usually 3.2g-6.4g per day but same effects have been noted on between 4g-5g per day. a load of 6g a day can be done for 2 weeks, best taken pre and post workout. studies recommend staying on it for at least 3 months ( free form powder)

i guess with the stacks follow directions
