Most Over-rated Men's Posing Music

Newbie question - what are the most over-rated men's posing tunes?

I haven't seen enough shows to know what gets used-and-abused...except for Shania Twain's "I feel like a woman" (thanks for the warning MasterTel!)... but there are probably the obvious tunes to avoid, right?

Haha - actually, TFB, that was my colleague (Mark) who mentioned that at Sunday's seminar about the Shania Twain song.

To explain for those who weren't there - Mark recommended that competitors choose their own music rather than sharing a song with other competitors from the same training group/gym. e.g "I Feel Like a Woman" was used by about 7 or 8 ladies from the same gym at one event a few years ago (about 4 in the same class) so it got pretty tedious for the audience to hear the same music over and over again!

Personally I find them kind of boring and a bit weird...a male bber moving like a ballerina on stage but thats just me...

In saying that I remember Arnold in pumping iron and their little ballerina lesson

joe ulberg could pose to anything slow and you'd never stop watching- incredible- makes me jealous.

Ballet! ben the PT at Les Mills auckland included some in his routine one year,   then went inot some hard funk moves. He'd be the only one that could pull that off, but it sure had people wake up and damn near fall off their seats.

Plus ben has decent muscle, especially his quads, so it really worked.

Back on topic, I feel music should be a partial reflection of ones character. Not only to generate mood and feeling by the performer in connection with the audience, but a juxtaposition of ones physical development in reference to the words. For example, T.I's "Bring him out, bring him out" or "This is why Im HOT" for me builds suspense as to the monstrosity(muscularity), that is about to be brought out on stage or to the pure streamlined essence of a figure class athlete that emulates the goddess features of the woman form, I myself will choose mediocre pop music as I feel it is neutral in expectation, a feel good for the audience and is slightly upbeat so I can keep in time, Thats my rant on the subject

P.S: sorry that dragged on I was feeling expressive, cheers

LOL - but precisely what I was after ! As a tubby white geezer, it's pointless me picking some gangsta tune to pose to...maybe Elvis in his later years is some place I should look
