New labelling on ZMA products

The powers that be have decided too much zinc is bad for us. So the NZ dietary supps have changed and zinc based dietary supps can no longer have more than 15mg per daily dose, anything over that makes it pharmacy only, hence the label needs to be changed to comply and recommend only one cap per day (10mg). This won't be much good though so you need to use 3 caps or 30mg of zinc for it to be effective.

We've also been screwed on Vit B12, Folic Acid, Copper, Iron, Selenium, Niacin and a few other things that are good for us. But at least we can still go to KFC and buy shit in a box and buy products with aspartame, sacharrin, dodgy food colouring, and HFCS in them as well which is cool.

Flex..., bit off the topic I ,remember reading an article few years ago about Pfizer sitting behind the FDA, and that the "natural health" industry is a big concern for Pfizer, with quite a lot of reasoning around statin drugs (for cholestrol) etc, do you have any info on this? I know there is a medical aid company in the states that gives you discount on your monthly fee if you enroll at a gym and you can also get discount buying supplements throught them as they reason that active people are healthier than non active individuals.

Also in South Africa Discovery Health will pay your gym fees for you as long as you go around 12 times a month and they say they can prove that their members going to gym are still less an expense than the none gym goers even if they have to pay the gym fees for them.

Do you think there is any value in this, and do you think pharmacuetical companies wan't to get rid of anything OTC that can benefit health?

Damn, that's so true it brings a tear to the eyes. double standards. we are not allowed to minimize obesity, yet any healthy alternative is crushed.
