cardio question

That is true but you don't really acheive anything as you have nothing like a comp after this cut back period. Therefore once you finish your 12 weeks or so what then. You cannot continually stay on this low Cal diet, therefore increasing muscle mass and eating more Cals will benefit you for a lifestyle change. The more muscle mass the higher Cal intake you can have without gaining fat, once the muscle mass increases if she remains on her existing diet and exercise regime her B.F will drop.

IMO low Cal diets are only good for short term goals e.g Pre comp, Body 4 Life stuff.

Soon as I go low carb or low cal or high cardio my weight loss stops in it's tracks and is almost impossible to start up again. In the past pre comp I would go down to 50gm carbs/day and trace fats plus 2-3hours of cardio and would always struggle to shift the last few %. This last show lowest I went on carbs was 400gm/day and cardio was 30min/day. I lost much much faster and stayed alot fuller and harder right through, and training intensity was at almost 100% right up to the show.
