Oatcakes with chocolate sauce

This recipe is based on a ratio of 4 egg whites to 40g of oats. So if you use 60g of oats, probably want to use 6 egg whites...and so on.

anyway, whisk oats, egg whites (and I also add 5g of psyllium husk which makes it a bit crunchy and adds fibre). + 5g of plain cocoa powder (only 16 calories of chocolatey goodness!) + 10drops of stevia.

Fry.

Drizzle with a tablespoon of nice tasting flaxseed oil (Waihi Bush i find works well)

Then, mix your favourite flavour protein powder with a tiny amount of hot water to make the 'sauce'. Chuck it on top and enjoy.

You will need to down about 500-750ml of water with this dish (not becuase its gross, but because your stomach will need the extra water for the protein and psyllium)

You can flavour the oatcake with any of your fave flavour. I even made a 'savoury' one and then chopped it in half and used it as 'bread'. Chucked some chicken and tomato and onion between it and then put it in the george foreman (which acted as my 'panini press').
