Interesting info on Pro's and Photos

Got this from a new "Flex" type Magazine that is starting up in the US:

I am sure some of you knew this, was new to me.......

Pro's Photos

How do the pros lift ridiculously heavy weights for photo shoots when they're in contest-ripped condition? They use fake weights! Yes, fake weights made of aluminum or Styrofoam. Don't believe me? Then check out the picture below of me doing hammer curls with 130-pound dumbbells! Those dumbbells are metal, labeled as 130s, but weigh no more than 65 pounds each. Shocked? You shouldn't be. The pros are forced to lift heavier-than-normal weights for photos because that's what the fans want to see. To avoid injury, they sometimes use fake weights. Unfortunately for the fans, no bodybuilding magazine has the balls to write about it.

Well actually if u go into the gyms all the big heavy dumbells that only a few people can use are rubber :) it is a scam that has gone on through the ages of the gyms :)

we all just hope that sheer size of the db will scare you off and you won't know our secret.

Flex magazine has lost a lot of credability with the whole fake weights in photoshoots..... do they really expect us to believe that Jonnie Jackson benches 6 plates each side while he's 5% bodyfat

This was the catalyst for the fake weights in photoshoots:

I hear what u saying nzmusclemonster but I believe he could still bench that at 5 %. I was still able to bench 6 plates at 5% so I am sure JJ could :)
