Hi everyone.

Still new to the forum but what I have been reading so far sounds like a lot of good advice from some pretty clued up people. Just have a simple question to start with. I want to add another exericise or two for the hammies on top of leg curls.

All suggestions appreciated :)

Welcome to the board!

Regarding the hamie excercises: one that has not been mentioned yet is Good mornings and another favourite of mine is leg press with the feet as high as possible on the platform and a little bit wider than usual. Try to lower as deep as possible. Although the quads will still work, the focus is moved to the hammies. If you want to hit the hamstrings with some serious weights these are the excercises to try.

Thanks guys.

Thos eGlute Hammie Raises and shifting my feet on the leg press gave me a good burn. Hopefully now I wont end up with a saggy ass! :lol:

On the contrary my friend, the glute/ham excercises will firm up your bum like nothing else :nod:

Standing one leg press on the assisted chin up machine.

This is also a great one for getting lots of strange looks from other gym members who think you've gone mad! :roll:

I havent seen this one before. Does one foot go on the floor and the other on the pad?

Wow. I can see how this would work - it would be similar to a lunge movement but with more isolation. I'm sure that works amazingly well.

hack squats facing backwards, never actually done it myself but seen some pros doing it in mucles mags :wink:

i see pros in magazines standing with ther hands on ther hips, maybe this will get me as big as them?

na i do that all the time and it dosnt seem to work :pfft:
