WARNING - NZFBB Posing routine duration

At last weekend's NZFBB Executive meeting it was made clear from the judges that there will be a crackdown on the duration of posing routines at NZFBB events.

The rules clearly state that most classes have a restriction of 60 seconds for a routine - with Fitness and Mixed Pairs allowed up to 90 seconds. These are the maximum times allowed i.e. shorter routines are fine.

I have played the music at the three NZFBB Events this year, and will probably be doing so at the Sonny Schmidt Classic early next month. Previously I have allowed routines to run over the limit by a few seconds (usually 5 or 6) before fading them out. It is likely that the Head Judge will make it very clear at the briefing that routines will be stopped at 60 seconds (or 90 seconds for Fitness / Mixed Pairs).

Many competitors obey the rule, but a lot don't (approx 70% were over the limit at the Auckland Champs) - so this is a warning that if your music is over the limit, you are likely to have it finish earlier than you want it to.
