Making little to no progress with biceps

u could try negative repititions (dunno if its called like that in english). like u do concentration curls with rly heavy weight that u cant lift. so u lift it with the help of ur other arm and let it go down as slow as u can.

who gives a rat arse about bicep strength anyway unless your a competive arm wrestler or chin up record holder,how much would extra bicep strength would carry over to a bench,deadlift,squat or olymipic lift.not a lot

I've been watching this thread with some amusement. The state of some of you... :lol:

I'm concerned specifically about bicep strength as I seem to be making strength gains in all exercises except the two standard curl exercises - standing ez bar curl and standing cable curl.

I use a workout sheet for each session and note the reps and weights for each set, which is how I measure progress.

strength..... curl heavy for 6-8 reps for a few sets and then do some negatives with a partner....

Do your lat pulldowns and bb rows with an underhand grip. This increased my bicep size and strength dramatically, I now only do 3 sets for biceps.

haha this thread cracks me up! most likely u are cheating when doin the exercises, its easy to use yr back and delts when training biceps and this will be y they not growing, is yr delts and lower back getting bigger? :pfft:
