I was talking to a lawyer friend of mine yesterday she said she couldn't believe about Les Mills and was willing to take my case all the way even though I didn't ask her to she is an awesome lawyer which is great to as she wants to take this on and was just disappointed with Les Mills

Yep bit of scar tissue in there that was from gear shots but it massages out Think that photo was taken in 2001

Haven't got tresspass notice but threatened next time in there to get one. Here are the emails sent and one recieved today

Salmon manager of Les Mills wellington. My name is Justin Rys and I

am former Mr New Zealand bodybuilding Champion as well as Current

IFBB pro bodybuilder who competes internationally against the best

in the world.I run a host of websites including http://www.bigkiwinz.com,

http://www.leanfx.com, http://www.sportswell.co.nz . I have recently been living

in Fiji and just arrived back in the country.

I had been a member at Les Mills for about 7 years but back in 2004

I got into trouble with the police for importing the drug fantasy

which was a legal supplement bought at health stores up until 2003.

I made a huge mistake went to jail and served my time.

Les Mill's had always supported me, sponsored me as well as me

returning the favors at events like Heart Children and helping

giving advice to other members with their training.

We went to Les Mills and had a workout the other day as a guest to

see if I wanted to join up again. My friend who we we were guests

of was called and said i was banned from all Les Mill's nationwide

and would be served a trespass notice if i went back ????? all

because i had been in trouble 6 years ago ??

This is ridiculous what sort of discrimination is this I have

always been friendly in the gym helped others and never been a

problem. There was never any wrong doing in the gym and if Gerry is

suggesting there was get him to show the proof !! If he is so

unhappy about people who have criminal records training in the gym

why are their so many people with criminal records training at Les

Mills all over the country ?? This seems more like a personal

vendetta against me.

After talking to my lawyer Chris Stevenson we are discussing taking

legal steps against Les Mills for this discrimination. Which he has

warned me will be a long drawn out process but i am more than

willing to take, it is the principle of the matter.

lmao....what a mother f**ker....the ceo actually supports his actions and doenst respect your 7 year service of his gym or your position in the national/international bodybuilding ranks. the biggest damage you can give to a company isnt legal fees its their reputation.

i walked out of a gym last week took the rest of my membership fees under the conditions that i wouldnt take any action against them.

i was deadlifting pretty heavy. one week advised by owner who i got along with very well to place another mat down. two weeks later his son comes up to me and tells me off..hes like what 19 20 years old? im a young guy too but theres a difference when you take advantage of your fathers power and act like an immature kid and destroy a gyms credibility.

i explained to this kid that his father me he didnt mind as long as i double mat and this kid walks away telling me just dont drop my weights :| i go to speak to the owner/manager but they werent there after my workout so i addressed him man to man.i told him not to disrupt me while im working out again. hes was all up in my face like mate your lucky i didnt kick you out.

the dicussion got pretty loud and humiliated myself for no reason and ended up telling this kid hes not the manger hes just daddys son...so he threatens me with my membership "your membership is gunna end real soon"

i arrange to speak with the manager the next day and basically he sees it from my POV and tells me that he already knows how this guy acts and because hes daddys son he thinks he can take things into his own hands and theres no responsibility. i told him i believe i am owed and apology and he agreed with that and told me i would be getting it.

two days passed and walked straight past this kids face and he didnt say nothing and shamed that i was still walking into the gym. when i walked out of the gym i said to him "did you speak to the manager" and hes like "yeah" and im like "i believe you owe me an apology" and he puts on a scum face and says to me "nah...you aint getting anything"...right about this point i wanted to crush his face into the ground...and im like do you think your tough? pretty stupid of all things to say but what do you say to a kid with no respect whos parents didnt teach him any morals and allow him to get away with that sh*t?

none the less after the weekend leading to LAST week they wanted to stand me down 2 weeks for saying 'do you think your tough' because thats a big threat right? sigh...i asked for my membership fees and to walk out quitely so yeah...neither his father or mother had the respect to show up and face me even during this 1 week period of time this all took place.

while i got the rest of my membership fees and i made a smooth transition to another gym i will remain quite, tough they deserve to be shamed.

i dunno why i shared my story but dont worry your not the only one. theres lots of messed up gyms out there that have no appreciation for their long term members.

emc thats tough man these fucken gyms dont realise us long standing members keep people coming into the gym and when we advise the need for new things etc its because we KNOW we need it we are on the floor every day doing it not behind the counter doing f*ck all Im glad you walked out its the principal of the matter isnt it!!!

Im in a bind at the moment the manager wont get any olympic rubber plates for our deadlifts so bang goes the hard rubber ones onto the mat every time im doing a heavy set I pay my fees I expect to be have the equipment required to do the job at hand!!!

However, I agree with EMC that one of the sharpest tools in your belt is the damage you can do to their reputation. You run a number of websites. Start posting some shit up. Just make sure it is all true - you can't have an action for defamation brought against you if what you say is true.
