Hi everybody - new and naive

Hey guys -

Have just started body building and getting into this whole thing.

I'm a bit short (5 ft 7) but not too bulked up (72 kg). I have done competitive fitness for a while (had the push up guinnesss world record in 2003-4) but never proper body building.

It's quite overwhelming - I'll probably go and view the next Auckland show. For me the main challenge is nutrition - I hardly eat anything and can't cook (and I'm a bit of a tight-arse with money!).

Will see how it goes - I'll post my initial pics on the picture forum to get some initially feedback on my strategy.

Welcome to the forums Drake_NZ its good to have u onboard.As for the cooking and money issue...thts pretty much what this inustry is made up of.When it comes to training the only way you will see results is with proper diet and proper nutrition pre and post workout.You can go into a gym day in and day out and train like an animal but without proper diet that hard work shows for nothin.Personally I work on my own diets as Ive learned quiete a lot over the years and Im still learning.We`re all learning even the best of the best and the pros are still learning cause theres jus so much out there to know.So take it one step at a time and see where the road takes you...
