i read an article in a local newspaper on a figure girl who competed in the amatuer section @ the elite show this year, then saw her at supermarket bout 2weeks later-she told me jo stewart did her nutrition-and it said in the article from 8 weeks out she was no longer allowed carrot because of the sugarcarbs component, just had brocolli instead

Hmmmm, I'm having 100g of that nasty stuff every 4 days. Planned cheat :pfft: Will cut it out when I stop losing BF. Shit, you should see my MEAN stash cupboard, Woolies had a deal on kingsize chocolate so you are welcome to sit next to me on comp day :wink:

Not sure on the sugars, however carrots are one of the negative foods ie: it takes more calories to chew it than you actually get from it. Just fills you up bit.

I think you will find the only thing that takes more cal to metabolise than the cal's it contains is water. Not sure where you got the negative foods thing from.
