This was taken from another forum...

'Cos of the diet, I haven't tried this yet but I want to! If any of you decide to make it, let me know how it turns out please!

Ingredients:

1 cup cottage cheese

1 bowl premade sugar-free jelly (1cup hot water/jelly sachet)

Make up jelly using half the water only - just use one cup of hot water and put in the fridge to set (forgo the second cup of cold water). Once jelly is set, blend in (with a blender) 1 cup of low fat cottage cheese until smooth. Again, place in fridge to set.

Enjoy

haven't done this poos but regularly mix a protein powder serve with gelatine for a supper meal. FYI - Gelatine is about 99% protein dependant on quality etc.

Comes out like instant pudding done right.

thats pretty cool, learn something everyday!!

Sounds yummy, will definitely have to give this one a try. I read in a BB mag about blending fresh pineapple with low fat cottage cheese and a bit of liquid artificial sweetner......tasted revolting, no matter how hard I tried to save it with a bit of extra sweetner, still tasted NASTY!! Glad you tried it out for us Biggurl

if you want summin sweet b4 bed/morning tea/afternoon tea, you could have summin like this-sorta makes likea chocolate mousse; certainly would if you used a stick blender to whip it up

you will need:

-one pottle of yoplait dietlite yogurt (lite green range)

(flavours include a creme range, a berry range, and a tropical range)

-one scoop protien powder (for real chocolateyness use EAS choc whey)

pour the yog in a bowl, then add the scoop of powder mix together-if you have a stick blender whip it up and put in fridge/freezer, probably set into a mousey like substance, but dont freeze-its better to use a stick blender rather than a full blender because otherwise its harder to pour out and is messy/hard to clean/you get a lesser portion etc

you could also try different flavours:

eg

vanilla creme yog + choc whey pp = choco mousse

veryberry yog + strawb whey pp = strawb mousse w berries

passionfruit yog + vanilla whey pp = passionfruity mousse

macros (ever so slight variation dependent on yog/pp selection)

Calories: 198

Protien: 31.5g

Carbs: 13.7g

Fat: 1.2g

I am addicted to this recipe. I have the damn thing every night... I make it in the wee hours in the morning and snack on it from when I get home till when I go to bed =P~

So far I've made:

Cherry

Orange n Mango

Lime

Lemon

Orange n Mango is my fav so far. Tastes like cheesecake filling!

I make my own diet and it fits in even on my low carb days. It's definitely helping me with my prep!!
