Taurine

Been taking 3-4 grams Taurine before workouts as of late and it is helping alot with my crippling lower back pumps, anyone know the most economic way to buy and from where? can you get pure powder easily enough?

Also anyone know if there are any ill effect in the long term when taking larger doses? From what I can see there seems to be little risk and alot of benefit's.

I also use it but I've only ever found the caps which are only 500mg. So to even get the kick of a redbull you need two. Be interested to know if there are any other sources.

There should be no issues. Just one thing though when purchasing taurine online, the quality. I have found that very pure taurine is usually quite expensive, so when you see the likes of Nutraplanet selling theirs at US$16/kg there is most likely to be fillers in there as well.

Anyway this is just in my experience and someone else might have something else to say on this matter.

lol i must be reading this wrong, there seems to be arsenic and salmonella in taurine, flex you could no dought elaborate on this, is it just the smallest amount that would have no effect on the body?
