nzmm, should we ask gymrat wheather he agrees or not?

i was wondering where u got that from?

I look forward to the day he agrees to disagree :pfft:

Milos is a pretty dodgy person. He was lucky to not get dragged into the Balco scandal with Victor Conte... Been investigated by the DEA a few times....

Selective pics there NZMM, I'm sure you could hunt out some of Ronnie's gut too.

Have a chat with Mark De Lew about how Ronnie rates Dorian, Flex and Shawn, the story I heard would have Ronnie voting for the Big D too

Dont' get me wrong about Ronnie, I think he's the man, just Dorian is the messiah. And tha calves on Dorian, sick.

Dorian is the messiah.
Agreed!

Dorian was spoken about for years as having very few weaknesses. All round muscularity and proportion - asthetically balanced. Many of the pros who competed against him were often quoted as saying his flaws were minor and therefore hard to capitalise on. Almost perfect. Even with a torn bicep as it has been stated in this thread he still managed to win.

(Note too that if politics plays in most most federations, as it does in ours, you would expect an ex skinhead pom from birmingham to be on the top of the list in a pro-american dominated sport)

Dorian was a more carismatic champ - Haney didn't achieve the same notiriety - probably not seen since Arnolds dominance. But even Arnold had his contrevercy .... an excerpt from wikipedia ..

In 1980, Schwarzenegger came out of retirement to win in what has been viewed as a controversial decision. Based on a noticeable lack of conditioning, compared to his previous competitions, allegations were made that Schwarzenegger was declared the winner based on his popularity and increasing celebrity, rather than his physique. Critics argued that the judges had been changed to those of Schwarzenegger's associates, and that Schwarzenegger himself had been a late entry into the competition. CBS Sports, despite the time, money and effort required to send a film crew half way around the world to Australia to film a sporting event, refused to air that contest due to their sincere belief that it was fixed.

Arnold was responsible for laying the foundation and bringing the sport to life - Dorian revived it after Chris D, Samir and Lee Haney failed to maintain the sports popularity as Arnold did.

just my opinion ... :)
