Thought I beta say Hi to everyone even though I've already been chatting in the competitors corner.

I'm new to competing first one was in April Nabba Roto-vegas my home town. going to Waikato this weekend to try again self taught I guess and from eavesdroppin on interestin conversations in the gym have managed to learn some basics as well as learnin from all my mistakes.

Just wonderin I'm not gona put any tan stuff on coz my costume is white so I've been gettin sunbed sessions would I need some shiny oil stuff on the day?

Please use tan, IMO you have no other choice, stage lights are brutal. And your costume is a purpose made Bodybuilding one yes?

Hey Radicool - hate to burst your bubble, but you NEED tan. I asn't dark enough at NZFBB Auck Champs earlier in year (pics on this site somewhere) and looked crap. Had done all the hard work, but without a dark enough tan I might as well not have!

Please reconsider (unless your in my class and sweet as, don't worry - j/k :pfft: )

I'm a "Shape" girl we get to wear lil skirts etc.. for the routine only

I was not goin to bother with the dream tan but I've read thru the comments might have to rethink lolz

The others are right - you really do need to use a proper tan. Think of it as your full-body stage makeup. It makes such a difference. We were just talking about different tanning products recently in this topic:

Make sure you get your make-up dark enough to match your tan too - don't want to look like your head's been stuck on a different body!
