hey everyone been surfing the site and theres some great info and stuff on here so thought id join and introduce my self.

im 17, been training half ass for about a year and a half before this year when met some pretty big guys that have taken me under there wing and been going hard ever since.

weighed in at 74kg at end of january and weighing 91 tonight. Some of this gain has been fat but still have the top four abs and good definition in shoulders and upper back.

Lifts:

bench: 1 at 130kg

squat: not too sure as normally pre fatigue the quads but guessing around 140, maybe 150kg

deads: only just started getting into these but tonight did 5 sets starting at 60kg then 100, 120, 130 and a last set of four reps at 160kg. Dunno what id get fresh!

hoping to compete someday but at the moment just training for the love of it.

cheers biggurl27, dont train with anyone my age so dont know how my lifts compare. Just try and match what the older guys are lifting for a challenge and just for the sake of not having to strip the bar after their set!

people my age just dont seem to be interested. Tend to get the comments like "why do you want to be that big?".

no worries man..only ever used protein and creatine.

found i got good results just sticking to these basics. Never got much effect from the creatine untill i tried balance efferescent, used two tubs of that and now having 4 weeks off it. Currently just using optimum whey. To be honest i would put all my gains thus far down to diet, you gotta eat heaps! Finding it hard to fit meals in around lectures but doing my best.

Havnt tried anything other than these basics but if anyone thinks i should try something then please recommend!

Hooray off the the journal section for you then young man! Some peeps put their work out journal, and/or food and cardio, best lifts, updated stats etc... its a great way to follow your progress.

For starters you can list what you presently consume and you will pick up some ideas from other members and you can tweak it to suit you to get the best gains.

Samoa Muscle I like those bars because of the taste I think they taste nice.

Oh ok....well in that case youngster if you are running short of time just grab a steak pie and a moro bar from the lunch bar because they taste nice too. If you have a little more time, go through the McDs drive through... that will taste even nicer I bet

cheers 4 the warm welcome everyone. And in answer to someones question about height im 5 foot 11. Pretty sure i am not going to grow anymore though.

Iv found bars are expensive! Usually make a shake or two in the morning to take with me for when no time for meals and usually have them with an apple or bannana.
