Second hand weights are the same as new ones. They are not like a car or clothes that wear out. They do not deteriorate, so there is no benefit in trying to buy "old" ones. If you do a NZ internet search you will find them for sale for prices ranging from $2.80 to $4.20 per kg. That is a pretty inexpensive price for keeping your health and fitness up!

I don't think that was what he was worried about - he was more concerned with the price.

I disagree - if you want to buy 20kg plates for each side, according to your cheapest analyst that works out to be $112. Obviously you would want more than just that though, so you could be looking at $300+ for a cheap set.

Good idea laver. that could work.
