Balance Ultimate Recovery Stack

It is discussed in the forums some where

However I personally rate the stuff, I was a trialist of the product and had some major doubts, but found it very good to aid in recovery. I am still using the product.

the nutra-life rep gave me some to try, and personally i don't rate it. i just think they tried to put everything that's good for recovery into one product just with knowledge they googled and wiki'd, without regard to different amino acids counteracting with eachother. maybe flex can shed some light on this?

I think you have to understand the logic behind this product before you reviw it.

It is aimed at those who take protein and thats it. They no little and don't want to know about supporting supplements so want an all in once general purpose recovery & creatine supplement.

it is popular for these users and is effective for them.

for someone who is prepared to do the research and spend the time with a greater number of supplements the pure range of creatine, glutamine, hmb, etc etc are more appropriate

It's not a bad product but you'd need to be supplementing with extra beta alanine and hmb to get a decent daily dose of each of them unless you're prepared to use 3 serves a day.

The biggest problem I have with it is the mixing directions. They recommend to mix a 65g serve in 250-350ml of water. Unfortunately being composed of 37g simple sugars, 13.5 grams of protein, and 5 grams of creatine you're going to need to mix it in well over 700mls otherwise it's just going to sit like a lump in your guts until it pulls enough water from your body to be absorbed. The carbs alone require 540mls of water to be at the right solution for optimum absorption. I'd say mix it in about 1 litre of water and you should be about right.

I tried about 2 weeks out before the Nationals but not enough time for a decent feedback. But agree with what you said needs more water which I did and beta alanine and HMB which I was taking extra anyway of the HMB.

Going to give a good shunt leading to the next comp.
