Hear ye, hear ye.

This site has got bigger and busier over the last few months, and it’s become obvious we need another moderator. After much discussion about several worthy candidates, we have decided to award the job to Marcus.

His ability to nudge wayward topics back on track had been noted and appreciated by all the moderators, and we’re confident he’ll make an excellent addition to the mod team. Please worship him just as you do your existing moderators.

But wait – there’s more!

You may have noticed our homepage is sporting a shiny new forum – “The Playground”.

Some of you thought that having a separate forum to satisfy your smack talk cravings would decrease the rubbish in the rest of the site. I’m not convinced, but after consulting with a few of you, we’re going to give it a trial run. Here’s the deal:

- Firstly, all the usual forum rules still apply. That means no source posting, no spam, no unfounded allegations. We’ll accept more “advanced” banter than we do in the rest of the website, but not personal attacks.

- What goes in The Playground stays in The Playground. Don’t bring the smack talk into the rest of the forum. In fact, now you’ve got The Playground, we expect to see less smack talk everywhere else.

- To help the mods keep order in The Playground, we’re appointing Biggurl as Playground Monitor. Do as she says, or she’ll smite you.

Lol @ biggurl being the mod on playground, it's as though you got a big pile of all the smack talkers and decided who was the most suited to be the mod.

I have no doubt it her ability, funky choice though, she's like the big sister of all the smack talkers. Like she get involved but also looks after them.

and LOL at biggurl being the mod, funky choice should make for some very entertaining discussions

and yea the list aint that big at the moment but i presume most people will join, most wont post but i think curiosity will get the better of them.
