Hum, the $1000 + quote doesn't surprise me too much, I always remember the science departments at school going ape over there scales, would have thought they'd be in excess of $500, can't help you with where to get them sorry.

Anyone know where I might find some scales that measure to 0.01gm?

I have got a few quotes but there all $1000+ and for my antioxident powder its not really worth it

I bought mine from a online supplement shop in the states: "www.bulknutrition.com" and it was in the region of U$30 2 years back. You can also try "nutraplanet.com", they also stock them from time to time and the last time I saw it was also reasonble priced.

These shops also stock alot of bulk powders ,so while you're in the process of capping powders it would be worth you're while to see what they sell. You can save a lot of money on your supps that way.

If you are only going to cap the "antioxidant powders" you can also check them out for some empty gel caps. They have them at a very good price.

Hope it helps you in your quest to get your powders capped :pfft:

I am very happy with the accuracy of my scale (it is a cheapy manufactured somewhere in the east), have been using it to cap numerous powders over the last 2 years and it worked very well. It comes with a 50gr weight to calibrate the scale in order to ensure it is still accurate. I would say it is definitely worth your while to invest in such a scale. It may not be in the same class as a $1000 scale but it gets the job done.

For your "vit c" powders you can use a Nr1 gel cap because that will hold 150-200mg of the very yellow "vit C" powder. That will also help to ensure you don't overdose on your vitamins and fry yourself :pfft:

Blueberry powder!? Blueberries must be my fave fruit! You would think going straight to the source instead of substituting this with some nasty powder would be more beneficial for the body?

Do any guys or gals out there get sick and tired of taking powder substitutes? Have you seen the size of those Amino tabs?
